1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Vollsera application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Vollsera is an AI-powered English language learning application that provides:

• Conversational practice with an AI partner
• Speech recognition and text-to-speech features
• Vocabulary building tools
• Progress tracking and analytics
• Gamification features (XP, streaks, badges, leaderboard)

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Vollsera. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

4. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You may not use another person's account without permission.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Vollsera to:

• Share offensive, abusive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
• Use automated tools or bots to access the App
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Upload malware or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

6. Free and Premium Plans

Free Plan:

• Daily usage limit subject to our Fair Use Policy
• Access to limited conversation topics
• Basic features

Premium Plan:

• Extended daily usage limits (up to 150 messages/day)
• Access to all conversation topics
• Advanced analytics and insights
• Session memory for personalized conversations

Both plans are subject to our Fair Use Policy. We reserve the right to limit or suspend access if usage patterns indicate abuse or excessive consumption of resources.

7. Fair Use Policy

Vollsera uses AI services that incur costs per usage. While Premium users enjoy higher limits, we reserve the right to apply reasonable usage limits to prevent abuse. Automated usage or bulk requests are strictly prohibited.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Vollsera — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of Dan Filea and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Third-Party Services

Vollsera integrates with third-party services including:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication and database
• Anthropic Claude — AI conversation
• Google Cloud Text-to-Speech — voice synthesis
• Google Speech Recognition — voice input
• SendGrid — email communications

Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms of service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Vollsera is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• AI responses will always be accurate or appropriate
• The App will meet your specific requirements

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dan Filea shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Vollsera.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Romania.
